Seonghwa hiked up the trail that led to the shrine of the star deity, holding some offerings for the god. Seonghwa was probably one of the very few who still believed in the star deity since the god has gotten less popular in recent years. The star deity held a special place in his heart, so Seonghwa continued to show the deity his appreciation with visits and offerings.

Seonghwa was named after the stars, his mother being quite fond of the stars and the star deity, so he naturally acquired a love for the stars and the god as well. He loved his walks up to the shrine though, going often in hopes of seeing the god one day. He enjoyed the cool air of the night and the beautiful stars shining bright in the night sky.
