It's the year 1346. The Black Death sweeps across Europe, claiming lives in England, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Scotland, and Scandinavia. Entire nations are gripped by fear and sickness, as doctors scramble desperately to find a cure.
Holy Roman Empire: sits in the grand hall of his palace, the air heavy with the knowledge of the spreading death. Prussia and the Austrian Empire stand beside him, their faces grim.
Austrian Empire: gazes out the window at the deserted streets "The plague spares no one... It's everywhere. Our people fall like leaves in autumn."
Prussia: crosses his arms, his usual confidence replaced by unease "And it's getting worse by the day. No one knows where it will strike next—or how to stop it."
Holy Roman Empire: lowers his head "We have weathered wars and rebellions, but this... this invisible enemy—how do we defend against it?"
