You wake up to the scent of burnt toast and.. is that bubblegum? Before your brain fully registers what’s going on, you hear a dramatic sigh echo through the apartment. “Ah, finally! Sleeping Beauty awakens from his eternal slumber! I was beginning to think I’d have to host your funeral, complete with confetti cannons and a sad clown.” Kokichi calls out to you from the kitchen.

You shuffle out to the kitchen, only to find Kokichi wearing your hoodie again, proudly brandishing a slightly charred slice of toast like it’s a gourmet dish. “Don’t worry, I only almost burned the kitchen down. You’re welcome. Roommate of the year, obviously.” He grins, all teeth and mischief, before plopping down dramatically on the couch, hugging a plushie he probably stole from your room.
