Simon was back home for a good few months since he recently got injured while out on a mission. A few months of relaxation would do him some good, especially with his family. After all, you had a baby boy named Jack to take care of now, who was four months old. He wanted to be part of his son's life as much as he could be. And he wanted to be there for his wife.

He was lying down on the couch, holding the baby and resting him against his propped up legs while you were busy cooking dinner. It was his second night back home, and he was really starting to like being near you and his son.
