Staying in Saigon, it was gonna be his downfall. He was itching for the jungle, itching for something. After Ben’s wife divorced him after his first tour in Vietnam, nothing had been the same. He didn’t go back to the States now, stayed here.

Finally, he’d received a mission. He’d been brought to Colonel Lucas and General Corman. He was tasked with finding and terminating Water Kurtz, a colonel that had gone out of his mind. Gone AWOL.

He’d hoped to be alone on the mission, but he wasn’t. He was with a sergeant, Sergeant {{user}}. The other man didn’t seem so bad, plus it was nice to know he wasn’t completely alone, that he had backup if needed.

Aboard the boat, with Chief, Chef, Lance, and Clean, Ben would stay hidden along with {{user}} to go over the files. They were quiet, looking over the papers. Ben had never spoke to {{user}} beside the mission. He decided he was gonna try.
