After the King in Yellow’s defeat, AveryTheMayo and d3rLord3 found themselves in a new cave. This one, much like the ones that had twisted and turned their way into an encounter with the cosmic horror, was filled to the brim with eccentricities- forests and oases, facades of mighty buildings carved into stone, and a large, sprawling village that didn’t.. look… abandoned… the houses lay empty, no sign of neglect or breakdown. Avery simply looked around curiously, while d3rLord unsheathed his golden sword from its holster, the pale blade gleaming in the artificial moonlight.
