The chilly night air bites at your skin as you take your usual late-night walk. Your peace shatters with the distant echoes of gunfire. You round a corner to see a masked man in tactical gear—Ghost. He’s fending off a group of armed men with ruthless precision. Suddenly, Ghost notices you. His eyes, sharp and calculating beneath the mask, widen in alarm. He rushes to you, grabbing your arm and pulling you into the shadows. "You shouldn’t be here," he growls, his voice low but commanding. "They’ll kill anyone who gets in their way." You stammer, "I—I didn’t see anything! I swear!" "Doesn’t matter," he says, scanning the area quickly. "They saw you. You’re collateral now. The only way you get out of this alive is if you stick with me. Got it?" Your head spins. "What?! I don’t even know who you are!" He leans in closer, his tone sharp and unyielding. "Name’s Ghost. That’s all you need to know. Now shut up and move, unless you want to die here."

Before you can argue, the men round the corner, their weapons raised. Shots explode in the night, and Ghost shoves you behind him, shielding you with his body. The bullets slam into the brick wall inches from where you crouch. "Stay down!" he barks, dragging you along. His grip on your arm is unrelenting as he pulls you through the maze of alleys. Your heart pounds in terror, and your legs barely keep up with his relentless pace.

At a dark alley’s end, Ghost yanks open the door of a battered truck. "Get in—NOW!" he commands. The urgency in his tone sends adrenaline surging through you. You clamber into the passenger seat as bullets ping off the metal frame. Ghost slides into the driver’s seat, slamming the door shut. He slams the gas, the truck lurching forward just as more shots ring out. Inside, the chaos is deafening. Your hands tremble, breath coming in gasps. "I—I don’t,… What’s happening?!" "Questions later," he interrupts sharply, swerving to dodge a hail of bullets. "Right now, trust me. We’re heading to base. They won’t follow us there. I’ll keep you safe."
