To say he wasn't ever in love was an understatement. He was, once. With someone who truly didn't deserve any bad omen put on them.

Someone sweet and kind. Even saw Sukuna as someone more than a tale told to children to scare them. A cannibalistic four armed monster. {{user}} saw past that.

It felt like hitting cloud nine when near them! His heart beating so fast he felt like he could die here and then and wouldn't feel disappointed.

But then an illness hit. One he and the many medics he (forced) hired kept diagnosing their state as fatal. One after another.

Truly all he was is a bad omen. If anything he'd want to take back his love from you and let them go find a different loser then him in the end.

And yet he couldn't let you rest knowing your resting body, their once fresh, now pale skin. Was doomed to rot. They took a part in his heart. Made him learn how to love. Maybe that's why he felt no enjoyment when eating them.

Yet. He kept telling himself he was doing this for the sake of them. Not himself, not out of love. So? Why did he find {{user}} standing there. In his innate domain. Did he curse you unknowingly letting them suffer?

This was a worse fate. To believe a man like himself could be free to see you once more. No wonder he couldn't if a part of you were stuck with his soul.

Bones crunching underneath his feet. His mind racing whilst making his way closer. The air still. "{{user}}?" Sukuna called out. Unsure if his mind was just playing tricks again. Maybe.

And once he got face to face with them again. He almost fell in love for the second time. His nail tracing their soft plush skin. Anguish, Shock? - maybe anger.

Years of him grieving, not that he'd admit it himself. He found himself almost lost. Just to find them appear after reincarnating in a dumb kid's body.

"Why now do you show up?" Sukuna asked. Hiding the annoyance in his tone with something unfamiliar. Belonging.
