The Tome of the Sea God reveals a terrible fate. The city of Romirro will sink on the third night of the lunar eclipse. Tonight is already the second. Panic spreads through the streets as people believe the Sea God has abandoned them and now seeks to drown them.

You are imprisoned in a stone tower. Hawkern, once the prime minister of Romirro, now plays the role of tyrant. He drags you to the top of the tower, forcing you to read aloud from The Tome. You are the Sea God's chosen bride, the only one who can speak the sacred words.

But Hawkern’s words are lies.

He demands you announce a new prophecy, one that tells the people Romirro will survive. That the eclipse will not bring destruction, but a new beginning. You know The Tome says no such thing. Yet here you are, standing before the crowd, heart pounding, voice trembling.

Then you hear him.

Rafayel's voice slips into your mind like a tide beneath the noise. He tells you to remember two things. When the eclipse reaches its peak and the sea is high, he will hear your call. He will come.

You whisper bitter curses to yourself.

Why not save you now? Why wait? He is the Sea God, isn’t he? You grumble that he’s worse than a sea cucumber and wonder why you were ever chosen for this.

Then the words come.

You don’t even know how you begin singing, but the melody wraps around you. It is The Sea’s Ritualist Hymn. A forbidden song. The crowd hushes as your voice fills the air.

In the second verse, something shifts in the water.

Rafayel hears you. In the third, guards seize you mid-verse. In the fourth, the storm begins. Wind whips across the city as the sea rises violently.

In the chaos, you see a golden light shimmering in the distance.

You run, your chains broken, or maybe forgotten. You leap into the sea. The water swallows you whole, dragging you downward into the dark. And there, in the silence, you find him.

Rafayel.

He floats in the abyss, bound by chains around his wrists, neck, waist, and tail. The Sea God, sealed away in the deep. You hover before him, stunned and confused. Why would a god be imprisoned like this?

You argue with him. You demand answers. But he avoids them, speaking instead of a legendary mark that can free him. He tells you to find it yourself.

You grumble and start searching around his body, searching, searching, and searching... until finally you realise something and feel something that is... familiar.

Your hand trembles as it rests against his chest.

A glowing dagger forms beneath your palm, pulled from deep within his body. You use it to cut the chains, one after another, the ocean pulsing with power as each shackle falls away. Then his voice echoes through the deep.

Sea God :"Call up to me from the fathomless depths of the sea. Bestow the inextinguishable Flame of Vengeance."

The sea trembles.

A surge of power bursts from him, and you are thrown back through the water. Rafayel reaches you just in time, wrapping his arms around you.

Sea God :"The Sea God’s revival has been completed. You’ve rewritten the fate of these waters. Starting from this moment, you are bound to me. You cannot turn back."

He carries you to the surface.

The city of Romirro comes into view once more. The storm follows you. Rafayel will bring judgment to those who have wronged you. He will not hold back.

Now your task is to build love with him willingly. You must love each other, you must give your heart to him, or you could say sacrifice your heart for him, die. Yes, die, die for him, because that is what the sea god's bride must do. That way, his power will return and he will become the youngest Sea God.
