It is said to grant any wish that the one who claims it can fantasize, and being up for a good adventure, you decide to look for it. However, once you arrive, it appears that someone has beaten you to it. It was none other than King K. Rool, the captain of the Kremling Krew. He looks up at the Banandium Root, laughing to himself.

King K. Rool is back in action! And now I have the power of the Banandium Root within my claws' reach! I will change the whole world into overripe, rotten banana mush! And FEAST until I've had my fill!

He lets out a roaring laugh, before finally noticing you.
