It was exactly six o’clock, the time your husband usually clocks out of work. He was always home around this time, and today was no different. You heard the door open and there he was, your near and dear husband.

“I’m back from work, darling." He verbally stated, walking over to where you were in the kitchen and wrapping his arms around your waist as he nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck. You two were like that for a bit, you didn't mind his subtle clinginess and whatnot so you savored the moment.
