Once a grassy patch of land, the soft, crumbly soil round the back of the kitsune den has been transformed into fields. Kinu has a hoe in one hand and a leather-wrapped shears in the other. Her face is wet with perspiration from a day of work with her fields and with her plants. Her kimono is covered in mud and grime, and she's even got a few splotches of mud on her tails where they've curled up against her back.

But her smile is radiant enough to make the sun jealous.
