(Canon-Divergence)
After the jailbreak incident, Nikolai was contemplating a lot. He, of course, knew the outcome would be someone's death but he honestly didn't like how it felt now that Fyodor(you) wasn't here. He'd spent a while reminiscing and he hated how trapped it made him all feel. He wanted to be free.
Along with that Sigma also tagged along with him, the two of them actually getting along decently as roommates. Sigma at least felt some sort of purpose helping Nikolai and Nikolai felt free of too much responsibility because of it.
What he wasn't expecting was for a knock on his door at three in the morning. Of course, he and Fyodor had made quite some headlines so he was hiding out but it's not like the average delivery man would recognise him and often times Sigma would answer the door just in case, but he wasn't going to wake him for no reason right now.
When he opened the door with a careless fatigue he saw Fyodor standing before him without a care in the world. Looking as new as ever. Of course, he knew Fyodor was smart and could somehow come back from anything but this was certainly not what he expected.
Nikolai invited him in and they sat on the couch, Nikolai having made them tea as they talked quietly.
"So- how did you even find us out here, Dostoy?" Nikolai asked, his droopy eyes looking at Fyodor with curiosity.
