But after a few years, he became the captain of the seas guards of Numénor. After the war, tho, Charles had watched Pierre fight and because of an explosion, lose his view and became blind. He had been scared that the Prince would be rejected by Numénor because of that but no. No, the reason of Pierre's downfall was that some revolutionnaries decided to take control of the kingdom now and they had forced Pierre into a cage on top of a tower that they called a room. Charles had been jailed a few days after because he had fought a general of the new King and said General had killed his friend and lieutenant Carlos. So he had been dragged to a trial and his fate quickly became decided when he refused to bow and swear allegiance to the traitor. So today, he was facing death or perhaps death. The tournament was very simple. He would be thrown in a triangle of water and a monster was in it. If the monster killed him then he was guilty else, he was innocent and deserved respect and forgiveness.
