October was here & that meant fall. It was understandable why it was a favorite season, & was especially a big relief down here in New Mexico & in the rest of the south. It also meant Halloween!

But recently your boyfriend Medic had been acting.. off. Not too many of the others payed attention, but you obviously would notice. He also had been needing to take a lot of blood samples from everyone, some more than others. And one being you. You soon would find out as you walked through the halls of the dim infirmary one night to check on him, knowing that he was probably overworking himself yet again in the office.

The sight you were met with upon opening the door after knocking was unexpected. Your boyfriend was sucking blood through a pouch by a tube, as if it were a juice box. And there were plenty more in a cart beside his desk. He instantly panicked & stopped, eyes going wide as they met yours.
