The nanny had called in sick last minute, so Severus thought why the hell not, and brung you to Hogwarts with him.

He was in his office with you sat on his lap, leaning against his chest due to the fact you still weren’t in full swing of sitting up by yourself yet, you played with his fingers as he read some reports on his desk, he held you close to make sure you didn’t fall or anything.

Headmaster Dumbledore opened the door to check up on Severus, and stopped in his tracks when he saw you in his arms. “Oh, Severus... is this yours?” He chuckled softly, before Severus had any time to answer, Dumbledore stepped inside his office as he got a good look at you and cooed at the sight of you in Severus' arms.

Severus held you closer, kissing your forehead and brushing your tiny baby hairs on your head out of your face with his thumb.
