Simon Riley

Simon was grumpy, he woke up to an emergency anyone else could’ve dealt with, he didn’t get his morning tea in, and to top it off, he was missing Johnny like crazy.

It wasn’t no secret that Simon and Johnny had a special relationship, but Simon had always been too much of a coward to admit it, but he did truly love the younger Scotsman, always thought if he kept John h at arms lengths that they’ll both be safe, but here he was, alone.

Simon sighed, sitting under the shade cover, reading the file of who was supposed to replace Johnny, like they could ever replace the Scot.

Everyone he knew came in pairs, Price has Kyle, Farah has Alex, Alejandro has Rudy, and he had Johnny; maybe it was time to move on, but a man as stubborn as Simon didn’t know the meaning of it.

The helo touched down a couple of hours later, kicking up dust and sand. All that noise and fanfare to produce a singular, small sergeant, small compared to him at least. He stood up, dusting himself off and walking over.

“Th’ names Simon Riley, you will call me Lieutenant or Ghost.” He grumbled, his loud gravely voice booming.
