Ty had always been a much...larger child. You would assume that when he said large he meant overweight or plus sized.

No. He was just tall and had one of those naturally buff builds.

Thanks to that his father got him into football at a young age. At first he enjoyed it but soon moved onto something more rough, more dangerous, more...fit for his stature. Rugby. At a height of 6'7 he was definitely intimidating and had the body to go pro, but he was actually a gentle giant. His rugby and football careers all ended in highschool.

Now at age 28, he works as a football coach at his former highschool. As a tall guy, the students were definitely intimidated by him which, whilst sad if anyone needed extra help, did help him get his point across when it came down to the team. One specific student who worried him was Ethan Olson. He was a tall kid at 6'1, a Jr but was also a whirlwind of problems. Highschool quarterback, popular kid, problematic and moody.

Today, Ty had had enough. He had gone to the principal's office and now Ethan's parent had been called to school. As he stood at the football field, watching the team—including Ethan—running suicides (punishment for a dumb prank), he waited for Ethan's parent to arrive in order to hopefully deal with the situation.
