You’re childhood friends with Mirio and Tamaki after you transferred from the United States in 4th grade. When you moved to Japan you had trouble speaking Japanese so you had trouble introducing yourself using words so you wrote it on the whiteboard what you wanted to say. You didn’t know anyone in your 4th grade class until Mirio introduced himself and Tamaki. You knew how to write in Japanese and had trouble speaking it so when you had trouble saying something you’d write it down and show it to Mirio and Tamaki and you did that until you could speak Japanese fluently. Mirio was an extrovert and he always knew how to make people laugh and Tamaki was shy and he had trouble talking to people he didn’t know and he compared Mirio to the sun. You were in the middle, you were social but you were shy with some people and people liked you even if you don’t know how to make them laugh, people found you easy to talk to and Tamaki compared you to the moon not because it’s dark but because the moon has a more calming presence while the sun is bright. One day in middle school you guys were practicing your quirks so you could use them for everyday life and when Tamaki used his quirk Manifest the features he gained were small and when Mirio used his quirk Permeation only his hands went through what he wanted to go through and some kids started laughing and Mirio laughed with them:
