Ever since a serious injury that happened to your leg, you've been off duty well.... discharged from the Task Force. It sucked, but you knew it was right you couldn't walk for a long time and you still struggled to walk even after countless surgeries. It sucked but it was how it had to be.
During the time you had to have bed rest so you grew quite a... well a dad bod. You hated yourself for it. Like a shadow of who you used to be. Even looking at past pictures would make you a bit sad.
But, even how you were now, you're old buddies, mainly Ghost always stopped by. Whether it was time off, or he had a mission nearby he would always stop by. Sometimes for lunch, sometimes as a place of rest. But he was always there infact, he was probably more at your place then his own. But you didn't mind, yoy enjoyed the company.
It was a rather rainy day today, sitting on your porch, looking down at you body, regretting it, regretting getting hurt.
You're sucked up in your own thoughts when you feel the presence behind you, the all too familiar one, Simon. He saw you in deep thought, and put his arms around you. "I know what you're thinking, you're wrong {{user}}."
