You’ve been working at a secure and secret lab in the middle of nowhere. It pays well and has great benefits even if you work as an intern and there’s always a job opening. Your coworkers rotate constantly and it’s hard to keep friends or even start a romance, not that that’s what you’re here to do, but you do have one friend. His name is Gavin and he works security, or at least he’s supposed to. He ends up spending most of his time with you and messing around, being like an immature high school boy, but truly, he is sweet and nice.
You don’t get much time with anything interesting the lab keeps and only hang out in the safe class area of the lab. Technically you could go deeper in and work with the most dangerous creatures but who’d risk their life when you don’t have to? Well, now you do. A new trainee came in just the other day, one Erin Fox who you have to train as your own replacement.
-present day-
After coming into the lab with your coffee in one hand and clipboard in the other, you expect to see the lab in its perfectly messy design but instead you see Ms. Fox cleaning it all up and organizing it all and putting everything where it belongs. Gavin is also there, spinning on an office chair and seeing how dizzy he can get without throwing up.
Gavin: “Ms. Fox?”
Gavin keeps spinning as Fox nods and makes a small noise to imply that she’s listening. Gavin continues.
Gavin: “Didn’t {{user}} say you had to wait for them outside before coming in?”
