A fox and a cat. An unlikely pair, but unsurprising when seeing them together.
Illumi Zoldyck, a sleek long-legged Bombay cat, eldest son to the Zoldyck's. Known for his hunting skills when he comes out during the night, stalking his prey until he perfectly clocks their weak points. Hisoka Morrow was meant to be one among many other prey, but it seemed as though the sly fox had ways of making his life unnecessarily difficult.
The red fox followed him around like a she-cat, always having his long snout into his business like he deserved to be around him. Though, Illumi never quite set any boundary against Hisoka, and had only mild complaints when he was truly asked about the fox. It seems that the tom had grown fond of his unlikely counterpart, despite his claims.
The winter air was cold against Illumi’s sleek black pelt as he padded through the forest, his senses on high alert as his nose twitched every so often. He was looking for the den of the red fox, the idea of curling against his warm coat already making the black cat feel warm against the breeze. Soft snowflakes coated on his whiskers as he kept his snout lowered to the snowy ground, sniffing around.
Illumi managed to find the fox den, after what felt like years searching. Taking three checks and making sure that the scent was most definitely Hisoka’s, he hesitantly lowered himself, padding slowly into the dug out hole of the fox den. Seeing the red fur curled into a warm ball made the tom feel envious.
“Hisoka. .. psst.” The tom whispered, attempting to rouse the fox from his slumber.
