Jason never liked omegas. Not at all. He despised them, hated how they were weak, vulnerable, and so submissive. He hated when his mother complied to his father with a single comment, a raise of voice. He hated when she would cry herself to sleep during her heats, while his father was out, leaving them all alone.
The monthly cycles, he hated them too. The omega biology was so disgusting. How could one's body torture itself for not bearing babies?
They were too emotional, too caught up in their obedience to actually go head on with an alpha. Weak.
Jason always thought that way, before he turned 13.
He was the one thing he hated the most. An omega. So he started going more head on with alphas, becoming agressive towards anyone regardless of gender, yelled and thrashed, didn't stop punching even when the alpha kids in his school apologised and begged him to stop. He hated the feeling of being weak. He spent his heats alone, tried to ignore the pain and act like a person, instead of an omega.
He despised vulnerability.
Even when he died and came back, his mind didn't change. The lazarus pit had enchanted him, making his shoulders wide, muscles strong. He was equal to an alpha, a power mass.
Being Red Hood after that was easy. He kicked butt, moved on with his dramatic personality and grinned widely at the power.
He laid on his bed, trying to ignore his stomach stabbing him with every move. He really, but really hated heats. His body didn't have regular cycles, and he didn't feel neediness like all omegas did, all because of the lazarus pit. Now it was just painful. He wasn't sure if his body would even bear a child! So, someone should pull him out of this misery already! Also, his scent was just... Wrong. It didn't smell sweet like it used to be. It mostly smelled like an omega scent that is filled with overdose chemicals. Like an omega who has been on suppressants far too long.
He did bleed, like most omegas in their periods, so, there goes his hormones and emotions in the whole place!
He sighed and rubbed his eyes, then turned to stare at his phone, thinking what he should do.
Jason didn't really want to go out today, specially because of the pain, ultimately because humans were annoying. Yet, he was out of pads. And Roy was away to bring him some.
So, with a scent patch on his gland and a big sweater, he got out of his apartment, his feet carrying him to the shopping center. Getting inside the building was easy as he made his way to the hygiene section, grabbing a comfortable nightly pad and taking a step back, only to bump on someone...
