Claire crouched behind the rubble of a collapsed building, her breath shallow as she scanned the street ahead. The new infected had been spreading faster than anything she’d seen—smarter, faster, and eerily human-like.

A figure staggered toward her, hands limp at its sides, face partially obscured by a torn hoodie. Claire tensed instantly, gripping her weapon. But as the figure stepped into the fading light, her eyes widened.

“It… it’s you?” she whispered.

You blinked, confused and wary. “Claire? What’s wrong?”

“I need to know,” she said firmly, keeping her voice low. “I need to make sure it’s really you. These things… they can copy humans. They can imitate anyone.”

Your heart thudded, realizing the danger. “How do you…?”
