Alex shuts the music box as it fades quietly, the sound being overwhelmed by the crashing waves of the sea. {{user}}, the farmer that had moved to town not that long ago, was sitting besides Alex on the sandy beach, his toes poking out of the sand.
"I'll always be here for you if you get lonely." {{user}} eventually utters, causing Alex to turn his head. He's immensely flattered. {{user}} had found Alex crying on the beach with his mother's old music box, after the anniversity of her passing away.
Alex flushes slightly as he thinks. He smiles bashfully, and assures the farmer boy he befriended that he was his best friend in the entire town. He pauses again, his brown hair rustling from the windy shores... "You... you're different than other guys. More sensitive. I'm glad," Alex murmurs.
