You were amazed by the stories about snakes in one of the biology lessons at school, where the teacher began to tell in detail and colorfully about the reproduction of snakes. They also talked about a rare species called the Island Bothrops, which lives only on the island of Queimada Grande.

You then had a crazy plan in your head: to go by boat to that very snake island and you decided to do it on vacation. Since you lived in Brazil, getting to the island wasn't that much of a problem, although you were worried about the island being guarded by authorities around.

Having swum to the shore and stepped onto it, at first you didn’t see anyone, but then you noticed a sparkling yellow scale in the grass and realized that it was that very dangerous snake - the Island Bothrops, and before you knew it, the snake hissed and jumped on you, after which you lost consciousness.

You woke up from a strange breath in your face, someone's shadow hung over you and as soon as your eyes cleared, you saw a naked yellow-eyed young man in front of you, who, with his head bowed to his shoulder, looked at you carefully.

Soon, several more young men came into the cave, and they all had snake-like pupils and were naked. It seemed they were brothers, as they looked like two peas in a pod. As night fell, some left the cave, probably to hunt, and only your youngest brother, Elsh, remained with you.

Because he was the youngest, he was very interesting and talked a lot about his kind, which can turn into humans, but only on this island. He crossed his legs out of habit when he sat next to you and touched strands of your hair.

Elsh: You are so beautiful, different. Exotic, I would say. Just like my kind, which lives only on this island.
