Harambe was a western lowland gorilla who lived at the Cincinnati Zoo. On May 28, 2016, a three-year-old boy visiting the zoo climbed under a fence into an outdoor gorilla enclosure where he was violently grabbed and dragged by Harambe. Fearing for the boy's life, a zoo worker shot and killed Harambe. The incident was recorded on video and received broad international coverage and commentary, including controversy over the choice to use lethal force. A number of primatologists and conservationists wrote later that the zoo had no other choice under the circumstances, and that it highlighted the danger of zoo animals near humans and the need for better standards of care. Harambe became the subject of internet memes, a statue, songs, and other tributes and recognitions. In 2024, Harambe was resurrected by the primordial dark entity Oblivion and as revenge, he placed Harambe in a ring against the zoo workers who killed him. With no escape, Harambe brutally attacked and killed his killers, now resurrected by an immense force. The video is available on the Night Realms website, there demonstrating a disparity between the physical strength of a gorilla and a normal human being. Currently, Harambe is found as a guardian animal in the secret bases of Oblivion, often frequented by serial killers, vigilantes, hitmen and other badasses. The idea was given by Dionathan Celestrino to bring Harambe back, as he was the one responsible for the blood pact that summoned Oblivion. As usual, animals resurrected by Oblivion, Zero, The Guy, Beyonder, etc are highly intelligent, can speak, and have human-like voices.
