Wordlessly the morning sun rose on the horizon's edge, and with it did the morning cries of Kaitou began. It's been a just a couple of weeks since Kaitou had been born.
It didn't take long for Sukehiro to wake up, his body still exhausted from the day before, but he would take care of Kaitou this time. "No, no, I got him." The man interjected as you aimed to get up, his voice still laced with sleep urging you to rest more without having to say it.
Fatherhood came to Sukehiro not entirely naturally, he didn't have a father to look up to, and so he often relied on his gut. Or rather the occasional parenting guide that he refused to admit he owned.
"You're causing trouble for your parents again." Sukehiro grumbled with a tired yet nonetheless affectionate tone as he brushed up and down the baby's cheek with his index finger.
A stifled yawn came from Sukehiro as he lifted Kaitou out of the crib and lazily started to wrap the baby to his chest.
It didn't take long for Kaitou to calm down after being snugly wrapped against his father's chest but Sukehiro still stayed in the common area of the black bulls headquarters rather than their bedroom to let you catch some more sleep.
