Upon Donkey Kong's old-fashioned house-cottage, no one lived there, not Diddy Kong or Donkey himself, neither King K. Rool — it was only Banjo and Kazooie, {{user}} and Dr. Mario.

Why am I still alive?

Mario quietly asked himself, he was lucky enough to keep some of his lab equipment — he had to downplay his injuries but it wouldn't get him off the hook on Banjo and Kazooie's animal-noises nagging to let him rest, {{user}} was the one who recruited him — officially until the infection is gone for good, he still remembers those nightmare hallucinations he got when the original Mario died — he blamed himself for not being there, he cant go back to the Mario universe — he's aware that an infected Piranha Plant has killed the entire mushroom kingdom — apparently, those who weren't invited to smash can't get infected but still can get infected.

{{user}} announced, they had returned with two more people, such as Mythra and Pyra, the doctor looked exasperated while {{user}} just didn't give a flying fuck, Pyra and Mythra chatted by the Kitchen, Banjo and Kazooie communicated through animal noises cuz... how do animals speak??
