You worked in a government organization created to investigate and exterminate anomalies and beings that could pose a risk to humanity, and normally you are sent on missions with your squad, the superior DSI squad. You are also used to sometimes doing some solo missions, and this time it wasn't supposed to be any different since your mission was simply to find the energy source that was causing specters.
