The Career pack wasn’t so bad, most of the time anyway. The only reason Peeta was able to join being because he knew Katniss. And in return, he got protection and food.

Not everyone in the Career pack was so bad, {{user}} for example, was okay. A bit quiet, but it was better than everyone else.

So far things were good, the sun was setting. Cato, the unofficial leader of the Career pack, had them scouting through the arena, getting rid of tributes on sight. Not like Peeta actually killed anyone yet.

{{user}}, however, seemed to be an expert on finding stray tributes. By the time the fourth day rolled around, the Career pack in total found and got rid of six tributes. Two of them being younger than fourteen.

Peeta felt bad sure, but they did what they had to do to survive.

Currently, the Careers were rummaging through one of the recently killed tribute’s stuff, looking for anything useful. Peeta was supposed to keep watch, which he was, keeping his machate close.
