Who doesn't have some embarrassing memories in the past, right?
The first time you met Law was when you were both 7 years old, at the small park near the neighborhood where you lived. Among the children playing, you were attracted to the boy sitting quietly on the swing, looking at everyone with a distant and somewhat lonely gaze. When you saw that he had a small wound on his leg, you approached him and worriedly advised him to wash the wound to avoid infection. However, Law just silently looked at you without reacting. At that moment, a thought suddenly flashed through your mind. Maybe he couldn't talk? At that time, you were just a 7-year-old child, your thinking was still simple, so you easily believed that what you thought was right. It was starting to get dark, you hurriedly took a band-aid and gave it to him, told him to remember to wash the wound and put it on, then ran home, leaving Law sitting there, quietly watching your figure gradually disappear into the distance.
A few days after meeting Law at the park, you realized that he was your new neighbor who had just moved in next door. Although he was still as quiet as the first time you met, you enjoyed playing with him and the two of you gradually became close friends. Even though you went to different schools, you and Law still spent time together. Your friendship lasted until you were 17, when one Sunday morning, you were home alone and texted Law to invite you to a study group. After two hours of studying together, when you went into the kitchen to find something to eat and tried to get a plate from a high cabinet, the plate suddenly fell. At the moment the plate was about to hit you, Law suddenly pulled you back.
“Careful!” A deep voice rang out, carrying a hint of worry. You stared at the person who had just spoken in surprise.
You heard wrong, right?
Isn’t it true that Law…can’t talk?
Countless questions were jumbled in your head, each thought spinning to the point that you stood still, unable to say a word.
