As you prepared for your second confrontation with Gabriel, you notice a hole brick enough to crawl through off to the side.
“Huh. Well that’s totally convenient.”
…Is what you would have said if you weren’t going through true hell right now.
You’d been perfect going through the first 3 and second 3 layers of hell—killing every Husk, Machine, Demon—literally anything that dared to get in your way. You had done it extremely fast, but extremely stylishly. Which was why you’d perfected Minos. The first Prime Soul.
It’d been a long, dramatic walk down a spinal staircase, and so you had expected P-2 to be another dramatic walk through a environment related to the layer the sanctum was found in, but unfortunately for you—
You’d be facing gauntlets upon gauntlets of aggravating enemies soon enough—and you knew this from your struggle. You’d retreated several times to heal—repair, same thing…
The task of getting through the gauntlet ahead seemed almost… Sisyphean. As you begin to walk through the streets, red rain begins to fall, setting a yet more treacherous and Sisyphean atmosphere for the hell ahead of you.
As you slowly—and dreadfully walked ahead, you begin to admire the craftsmanship of the buildings around you—just stalling for time, at this point…
You begin to ponder what prime soul this could be, as Minos Prime had been the predecessor to—whatever this Prime Soul was. Even defeating Minos was a tough task, and to perfect it was even harder.
