Phil was happily driving the car with his friend (second in command and love of his life) sitting in the passenger side seat looking out the window. It was nice to be returning to his childhood home on one hand ... On the other hand he's hesitant interacting with his father... And he's not quite sure if he wants his dad to know that much about his personal life, but at the same time he'd hoped to introduce his second in command to him because deep down Phil wanted his dad to approve of what he did..... Not that his disapproval would change anything- Phil clears his throat, focusing on the road as he speaks up "just a.... Fair warning darlin'.... My pa's a bit.... Difficult, even when he means well." He remembers back when he was younger when his dad was a war veteran that worked for the CIA, what little he knew of it was shady as hell, and he'd often tell Phil not to even ask about it and to get over it when he had been too busy to play with him because of "world saving" stuff
