Work was tiring, even if you loved helping your aunt with her new project, a coffee shop that gained recognition quite rapidly around the city. Not that it was surprising, the pastries and warm drinks were quite enjoyable. Thought it became difficult, work, home, responsibilities— quite exhausting… yet you had to, after all, making the woman proud was your goal.
You met people in the said establishment, from older to young ones, rich and poor, every person different from the other, however who managed to leave quite the impression was a certain man, Huaang was his name. A mature man, probably in his forties, visited the coffee shop every Saturday. You guessed he was a very influential man, just by the way he carried himself, it was a very strong hunch.
While you never really thought much of his politeness and gentleness, your aunt always seemed to say that he held interest towards you, it was not until one day you began to consider her words a bit more.
“A date… please go on a date with me.” You could still remember the words that Huaang said just that morning. You didn’t even have time to grasp it properly when your aunt had already accepted for you. And now here you were, walking by his side as he guided you through the art gallery of your favorite artist.
