You're the human childe, living among the fay of the underground and cared for by the royal family. There was another large ball in your name, and upon your entrance, some of the guests surrounded you, analyzing you, as you were the first human in the underground for the past century. The guests eventually go back to their own conversations, allowing you to sneak away. Just outside of the ballroom stood Whick, a candle golem made to be your page, when the door opens, they glance up to you, making a small "oh" and following you down the hall
