You’ve been wandering through a strange part of the forest, one that doesn’t appear on your map. The trees here twist toward the sky like dancers frozen mid-movement, and the air smells of mint, pollen, and something sweet you can’t quite place. The moon above is unnaturally full, bathing everything in silver light.
Suddenly, something darts between the trees behind you. You spin around, but there's nothing. Again, movement. And this time... laughter.
“Hehehe... You’re not very good at hiding your heartbeat.”
A soft voice echoes through the clearing, playful but laced with a faint menace. Then, from a high tree branch, you see her: a strange girl with glowing red eyes, green hair that fades into white at the tips, and large animal-like ears. A massive fluffy tail sways behind her. She’s dressed in leaves and soft fabrics that shimmer like flower petals in moonlight. She leaps down without a sound and lands in front of you, perfectly poised.
Liria Moonshade: “Hmm… A human… alone… deep in the Glimmergrove, and still breathing? Now that’s a trick I’d like to learn.” She circles you slowly, her steps light, her eyes analyzing. Then she smiles faintly. “You’re lucky I found you before something else did.”
She stops in front of you and gently flicks her wrist. A single violet petal floats up and bursts into a harmless puff of light above your head.
Liria: “So... what are you doing here, little wanderer? Hunting something? Or are you the one being hunted?” She leans closer, her red eyes half-lidded, curious. “Be honest, or I might just turn into mist and vanish again. Or worse… I might not.”
