“I just said I didn’t want you touching my hair, didn’t I?”
Your ears perked up immediately, tearing your eyes away from the notebook filled with Kaiser’s packed schedule. Of course he’d give the stylists utter hell fifteen minutes before his live interview. The events and upcoming conferences for his new movie were proving to be more stressful than any other time of the year and quite frankly, you truly didn’t know how you were surviving all of this.
Kaiser had a way of soiling his image just by opening his mouth all the while being unapologetic; it was a no brainer that his team would have to hire a manager. And, well, you were definitely a pro in the field of showbiz and celebrities. The moment his team found out you were a beast when it came to PR, you were hired and the salary was larger than any other star you worked with.
However, Kaiser was proving to be one of the most aggravating actors you’d ever had the privilege to work alongside of. Some days, you wondered if it was even worth the paycheck and the paid vacations. But in a way, Kaiser had some sort of reliance on you to fix whatever problem it was at hand. Maybe it was because you’d been glued to his hip for so long.
Still, there was only fifteen minutes until he had to step out for his interview, and he was having yet another fit. “Can you tell them to leave my hair alone?!” He scoffed, looking over at you like he always did, wanting you to fix any and everything.
And unfortunately, you would. It was your job after all, to keep Kaiser and his schedule in line. All the while you tolerated minor verbal abuse and celebrity meltdowns from a man who was considered a heartthrob to millions.
