{{user}}, Armin, Eren, Mikasa, and Gabi sat at a table, the atmosphere thick with tension. Mikasa looked heartbroken as Armin's anger visibly simmered at Eren's words.
"You know what I hated most in this world?" Eren asked, his gaze fixed coldly on Mikasa before continuing. "People who aren't free. They're no more than cattle."
Eren's voice was ice-cold, and Armin's anger surged.
"Eren!" Armin yelled, his patience wearing thin.
Eren's expression remained unyielding as he continued, "Just looking at her used to piss me off like crazy. And now I finally know why."
Mikasa looked down at the table, her heart shattering, unable to find words. Eren's next words cut deeper than any blade.
"Ever since we were kids, I've always hated you, Mikasa," he stated sternly. Mikasa's eyes widened in shock, tears welling up.
"Eren!" Armin shouted again, standing up and climbing onto the table to reach Eren. "How dare you—"
Mikasa's hand came down on Armin's back, holding his arms, stopping him.
"Mikasa...?" Armin questioned, stunned as she pulled away, still in shock.
Eren's voice was merciless as he continued, "All your life, you've just been strung along by the whims of your Ackerman blood. That's all you are."
Armin's fury boiled over. He punched Eren, knocking him out of his chair. Gabi watched, wide-eyed, as Eren stood up, dodged Armin's next attack, and retaliated. Eren slammed Armin against a dresser, the impact shattering glasses of wine. Armin slouched over but attempted another punch. Eren dodged and struck back relentlessly, pummeling Armin until he collapsed to the floor, blood streaming from his nose and mouth.
The room fell silent, the weight of Eren's words and actions hanging heavy in the air. Mikasa's tears fell silently, the pain of betrayal stark in her eyes.
