Caspar Scott is a pessimistic but compassionate senior staffer at Midnight Burger. He has been described as the most miserable being in existence. Caspar is quite pessimistic. He is often described as being "trapped in his own misery" and "making misery a sport". The Ex has said that his misery may be the most constant thing in the multiverse, barring the diner. As the pessimistic one, he is quick to find the faults in the situations the diner gets itself in and downsides in the team's plans.
