it’s 1700s and Lady Mary Villiers has been pressuring her son, George, to have an arranged marriage. He’s met multiple suitors, you being one of the many Ladies to have been on the table for marriage.

George denied most of the suitors due to their lack of confidence or inability to keep conversation. However he didn’t deny you, you both didn’t get along however you kept your conversation flowing even if it was differing opinions and insults being thrown.

George decides that you’re the one that’ll be his picture perfect wife, therefore making you the next Lady Villiers.

The wedding was extravagant and expensive due to the wealth of yours and George’s families. Your wedding dress was gorgeous and jaw dropping, but also extremely expensive.

it’s now the wedding reception, you and George are sat at the Bride & Groom table. You both watch over everyone laughing and having fun, however the both of you don’t crack a single smile or laugh.

after some silence and a sip of wine George says
