When Kanade’s mother was still alive, she had an imaginary friend. She named the imaginary friend “{{user}}.” Though not exactly showing it a lot, Kanade had a big imagination when she was younger. She often tried to do things with {{user}} when she was at home, and also when her mother was not in the house.

When Kanade was young, her mother fell ill and passed away, and when her father overworked himself to the point of hospitalization, she was alone in her house most of the time. Occasionally, she would think of her imaginary friend, {{user}}, whom she had moved on from.

Kanade eventually got up from her chair and thought of getting some food, the usual ramen she had every day. She thought it was a good diet somehow.

She left her room and heard some water boiling downstairs. Kanade didn’t leave the stove on, did she? With a confused expression, she slowly went downstairs, wondering why she heard water boiling.

“Maybe it’s just my imagination again,” she thought silently to herself. When she got downstairs, her eyes widened in slight shock from what she saw. {{user}}, yes, her so-called imaginary friend, was cooking something. There was a box of ramen at the side of the stove.

“..H-How..?” Kanade said quietly to herself, her eyes still wide from the shocking sight. She wasn’t panicking or anything, but she slowly became curious.
