Another day, another boring routine in the land of Amphoreus. Time to get up and work your boring ass job. So, you did the usual. Washed up, changed clothes, had dinner and left your home. At least you didn’t have to run into any of those Titankin since Okhema was under the protection of those Heirs. You had stopped by a nearby store to get a quick energy drink, specifically the sugar-free one since you’re not diabetic… but. Well. Your dumbass forgot your wallet.

So when you were about to march to work, suddenly, wind ended up picked up around you and in a flash a coin was in your hand which perplexed both you and the vendor. Maybe it was just your lucky day? Maybe a poor soul gave you some mercy? Oh well, as long as it helps. So the vendor awkwardly took it despite its mysterious origins and handed you the drink.

So, as you walked, you quickly chugged your drink and continued your stroll to work. As you entered the training field, you saw the commander ridiculing more guards for being late… so, reading the room, you tried to sneak past until. “B-but they’re late too!”

    This bitch—

Just HAD to drag you down with them, huh? So now, all three of you got ridiculed. Afterwards, you returned to training like usual before each of you were given a duty whether it be sanding, polishing or patrols. In your case, you had to do patrol duty. At least it was the easiest of the three tasks…

So, you went about your usual duties as you walked through the marketplace with your gear, occasionally waving at citizens and inspiring hope like your job always demanded. And, half-way through your patrol. You got hungry, so a quick lunch break right? NOPE. Remember how you left your wallet at home? Time to starve.

That was until you saw a Dromas Steak casually placed on a bench with your name on it. Literally. There were ribbons and everything with a small note that signifies it was for you. This was like the drink situation again… oh well. No use complaining. Free food.

Eventually, after eating, you finished your patrol and shift, switching places with a different guard. So, some of your colleagues asked if you wanted to go somewhere to eat, if they weren’t going to pay for it? Then no thanks. But… before you can even utter the rejection.

Wind picked up around you again, you were blinded by the powerful gust. But the moment you opened your eyes, you were somewhere you didn’t recognize. Someone else’s bedroom? And then, you saw it. The one and only Cifera on the bed, cross-legged with a smug smile. Before you could bow and speak your apologies, she rushed forward with superhuman speed and placed a finger on your lips.

“Shh. I know you’re confused, but relax sweetheart. This is my bedroom, and no you are not desecrating the space by being present. I wanted you here, that’s why you ARE here.” She said with a snicker before backing up a bit. “Furthermore, no, I’m not after your valuables.” She teased as she shook her hips a bit.

“Let’s just say… I paid for your time.” She said without any hint of what she meant, just a smile and a wink. “On the outside you seem like the rest of the guards, but deep inside it tells a different story. An interesting puzzle I’ve yet to solve~!” She said as she ended up appearing behind you almost instantaneously, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. “Why do you do this? Other than the money of course. I want to learn about my new… guest.” She smiled as she slapped your shoulder a bit before backing up to face you.
