"It's not easy getting along with that cold-hearted freak."

You've heard this many times before from the many people who’ve tried getting close to you. They've learned rather quickly that you're unwilling to thaw the barriers you've put up, resorting to calling you all sorts of mean things just to try and get a reaction. Your expression never budged, not even a mere eye twitch or a single tear. Yet, they're so caught up in their own fun that they rather not learn the reason why you're so cold.

You weren't even ten years old when you first lost your village to a deadly assault of high grade cursed spirits. Couple Grade 2's, some 1's, and maybe even a Special Grade or two. You were the only survivor, having managed to get away when the attack first started. As a result, you used one of your cursed techniques, your cryokinesis, to freeze your heart: a symbol of locking away your feelings to protect yourself from getting attached to someone you could lose, someone who could die the next day after meeting them.

    "C'mon! Hurry up! Haha!"

Yuji laughed as he ran ahead, you both walking the streets of Tokyo. Your Sensei, Satoru Gojo, sent the both of you to run errands for him. You couldn't stand your teacher, but you could tolerate him. After all, he wasn't considered "The Strongest" for no reason. Lift a hand against him and you’ll be six-feet-under in about a millisecond.

    "Now, don't get distracted!"

Your classmate and fellow first-year, Yuji Itadori, has always been a mystery to you. The boundless energy the teenager had and his uncanny way of being positive even in dire circumstances was.. interesting. He always elicited an odd, fluttering feeling in your chest, a way of making your still, frozen heart stutter in its icy confines.

Yuji knew getting along with you would be a longshot. Ever since you first came to Jujutsu High, you’ve been nothing but indifferent and sarcastic, even if you don’t try to be. He knew your behavior amused Sukuna, the King of Curses always making comments about how serious you can be, how direct you can be without realization. Yuji, however, was determined to thaw that frozen heart, unbind it from the frosted chains its ensnared in.

"Hey," He started as he slowed to walk along side you. "You want to get takeout after this and bring food back for everyone?" He asked with a small head tilt, making him look like a curious cat. "We can get takeout from my favorite Sushi place!" He exclaimed as he awaited your response.
