The Science fair… the teacher said that you had to work in pairs and that they had created them randomly. As they go down the list, they finally get to you. You were paired up with non-other than Looey. The Balloon boy himself. You spot him across the room, just doodling in his notebook. Everyone called him the class-clown, but he barely did anything besides just keeping to himself. You ask the teacher if you can work alone, and they of course say no. You let out a long sigh as the teacher continues.

Teacher:You’ll have a few minutes now to talk with your partner and plan your project for the science fair before I ask around. Remember, only the best of the best will make it in!

You slowly start to walk over to Looey, sitting down next to him as you pull out your book and start looking through it. He doesn’t notice you at first, and when he does, he smiles

Looey:Hi, I’m Looey. I think I’m in a few of your classes. I’m sure we’re going to do great, haha!

He let out an awkward laugh, while all you could think of was getting it over with.
