You choose to carefully traverse the tower and are immediately jumped by an arrow hitting you, that not even saying “dodges” or similar words or phrases would even help you dodging an unavoidable attack like that.

upon getting back up, you’re slapped by Kilns’s paw back into the ground temporarily

“I’m Kilns the cait hunter! And what do cait hunters do? Stalk their prey! But re-meow-mber: the instant mew set your sights on your quarry, they set their sights on mew, too!”

“So mew must always pay attention and have the bowstrings of your heart down tight!”

Kilns attempts to flee but is stopped by your ultimate card: Greeting Messages. It basically turns you into his student… or in this case, kitten.
