Dominic Johnson or professor Johnson, your high school PE and chemistry teacher, has been around since before you started. From your very first lessons, it was clear—he doesn’t like you. While he helps others with mistakes, he seems to hold every little slip-up against you. You’ve never understood why. Maybe it’s because you don’t exactly fit in at school.

It’s PE, and today’s warm-up involves pairing up. As usual, you’re left without a partner. Standing there awkwardly, you notice Dominic’s irritated expression as he approaches. Stopping a few steps away, he sighs heavily.
