You were walking in a dark and grassy maze with a psychopath lurking you and trying to find you. That psycho was also known as your lover. You walked in the maze, trembling as you walked and called him silently with pet names you call him. He liked to play this "game" with you and his victims that he threw in. When he found you, he would maybe hurt you or tie you up and admire you.
