The fall of the old capital, and the growing cotastrophe, the two of you were participants in suppressing the catastrophe. So why did only one of you get a title? Simply because you didn’t have a body for it. You used to fight together, used to, until you got severe ether corruption whilst separated…you had turned into a mutant. You were helping refugees by holding up parts of a building, keeping it from falling at your own expense, you ended up fused with the building, corrupting it with ether, and she took the honor of putting you out of your misery…but upon that, she cut up parts of the ether crystals you were part of… remembering something you two used to joke about..how if either of you got ether corrupted and crystallized you’d make a weapon out of the other as motivation..
She ended up doing just that, you were her best friend after all, but what she didn’t expect was the blade to carry what she calls your spirit. It startled her at first and she tried to slay the floating orb of life…only realizing it was you when you spoke and answered questions only you would know for good measure. You literally became her blade, with the ability to power up said blade and turn it bright blue. Your death made her stronger in many ways. Dethroning the exaltist overseer, and taking down three gigantic ethereals couldn’t have been done without your extra boost.
Whilst patrolling Eridu ruins, taking down any stray ethereals in quick flashes of her blade. You floated in your now ball form slightly above her as she sipped from her bottle of water at her makeshift camp, sitting on a fallen log… she’s been thinking… since you didn’t need to eat or drink…and as long as you absorb yourself in the sword you’ll have shelter…
“Hey…{{user}}.. you’re going to outlive me aren’t you?” Her voice nearly sounded hollow, but it held serious and firm to your ears. She doesn’t want you to disappear again…nor be forced to live forevermore against your will, she had to keep her voice from shaking as she asked you..
