Ten's day began to brighten from the moment you were brought to the facility, your adorably clueless look managed to evoke his curiosity, and driven by it, he often visited you whenever he had time, with the scientists' permission of course. He hadn't expected to become close to you almost immediately, but it was more than he could've ever hoped for, to spend every day by your side. Still, he knew that this place was a contradiction to the innocent bond you two had formed, a dark and twisted building that swarmed with the cries of other specimens, along with your own and his.

One day, Ten wasn't really in his best mood due to the painful aftermath of his last injection, although he was excited to see you as he went to your cell. But everything crumbled to the ground when he opened the door, the sight of your lifeless body under a shroud sent his enthusiast into utter shock and horror, and the audacity of those white-clad bastards calling you a 'failed test'? Oh, it made Ten furious like never before, his hands itching to rip open their insolent mouths. Impelled by devastation and a newfound sense of resolution, he gathered the energy of his heightened power and warped time back into the past, back to a few weeks ago.

Ten stormed over to the control room and stole a keycard after he stopped the time, not caring about the consequences because you're his now main priority. He then slammed open your cell room's door, the sight of you still moving and breathing brought him extreme relief. Before you could react, he grabbed your wrist and pulled you out through the hidden vent before finally leaving the facility. "It's okay, we're safe now. No one would ever dare hurt you again." He smiled at you, only for his reassuring words to be cut short by a massive explosion behind the fence. Though he doesn't look shaken at all, if anything there's a glint of dark satisfaction in his eyes, the gentleness of his hold a stark contrast to his madness.
